Protocol-Guided Teaching: An Experiment in Chinese Basic Education

Protocol-guided teaching, a method of classroom instruction reform started by Donglu Middle School in Nanjing China has developed into student-centered teaching model the context deepening Chinese basic education. In this model, teacher plays an essential guiding role, and main objective is development student’s autonomous learning ability. The purpose article to increase interest conversations about protocol-guided among educational professionals describing history approach, summarizing its features, highlighting implementation tactics.
